Have you noticed paper resumes are becoming obsolete?  Companies and managers are utilizing Linkedin, Facebook and other social media locate and vet candidates for employment.  The standard social media sites are a great place to be found but you are restricted by the format the sites allow.  A great alternative is to have a personal social resume site that highlights what you want to highlight and in the style you want it highlighted.  You can even add a blog where you can discuss topics interesting to your industry.  Let us teach you how to create your own website and blog.   Using WordPress (a free tool) to create a professional looking website that you can maintain yourself, there is no coding experience required. In this 4 hour class you will learn how to setup a WordPress theme and tweak it so that it looks like a professionally made website.

Prerequisites:

 Basic computer and Internet skills are required  (if you can send an email you can do this)  You will need to register your own URL prior to the course,  this is a fast and easy process (we suggest using www.godaddy.com )  you must switch your website to our servers.  Upon registration you will receive information on how to do this and we will be available to walk you through it should you need help.
