In the Bootcamp course you create the website framework needed for an active site that you can update and maintain without spending addition money.
Using WordPress, a free, open source software web design tool, you will learn how easy it is to create a professional looking site. No software experience is necessary, if you can do email, you can build a website.
In this full day class ,you learn how to setup WordPress and add a Theme. With the framework in place, you then add content – pictures, music, videos, logos, and other material of interest to your target market.
With WordPress, you can have a blog, a shopping cart, contact information, and links to other sites. Build your presence on the web with a WordPress web site.
Prerequisites:
- Basic computer and Internet skills required (if you can send an email you can do this)
- Obtain a URL – This is fast and easy using Go Daddy
- If you already have a web site, you need to move to our servers to take advantage of the free year of hosting. (Talk to us about the options for existing websites!)
- Wifi enabled Laptop (Talk to us about options if you don’t have access to one)

The class are small. They consist of lecture portions, reinforced with practical exercises. Mentors circulate to help with the practical exercises and answer questions so that everyone stays on track. Extras included in the price of the course:
- One year of free hosting on our servers ($100 value)
- Our list of vital resources for creating your best website (web-safe colors charts, free and paid stock photo resources, video resources, WordPress theme resources, etc)
- Access to our Tuesday Night follow up (every other week, come and ask questions, show off your site, network with other business owners)
Fees:
$500 with your WiFi enabled laptop and URL $25 additional if you need a Laptop
